U.S. Soccer — Soccer Forward Initiative

I had the opportunity to photograph a community event led by U.S. Soccer as part of its Soccer Forward initiative, a program focused on expanding access to the game and creating lasting impact through sport.

This project brought together members of the USMNT, local organizations, and young players, creating a space where the game connects communities in a meaningful way. Being on the ground, I focused on capturing real moments between players and participants, highlighting the energy, emotion, and purpose behind the event.

Working alongside athletes who represent the country at the highest level made this experience especially meaningful. It reinforced how powerful the game can be beyond competition, serving as a tool to inspire, connect, and create opportunity.

Projects like this are important to me because they go beyond the game. They show how sport can be used to support communities, create access, and leave a lasting impact on the next generation.
